Recent discussion among 12BET players has focused heavily on Kaylee, the newest character introduced in Gangram, especially after early-access evaluations and test reports revealed major differences between her preview-server and official-release versions. People often say that growing up begins when you learn to let go of what you once loved, but Kaylee’s official debut offers a much happier reversal. Her preview-server reception was relatively cold, so the improvements made before launch are welcome news for players considering adding her to their teams.
Feedback collected through the 12BET community suggests that the developers listened carefully to player concerns. The considerable commercial pressure surrounding this update may also have encouraged the studio to strengthen the character before release. Whatever the reason, Kaylee creates a completely different impression on the official server.
The first major improvement is the enhancement of Kaylee’s basic trait. On the test server, players had to unlock Potential Level 3 to receive a 15 percent reduction in the weight of medium-range sniper weapons. That effect is now included in her default abilities. As a result, Kaylee at Potential Levels 0 through 2 can pilot Rex while equipping an additional backpack.
Players can choose an extra offensive backpack, a mobility backpack, or a hybrid option that combines both functions. This is a major improvement over the test-server version, where Kaylee could generally carry only a strength-focused backpack. The additional flexibility significantly improves her battlefield efficiency and allows players to adapt her equipment to different missions.
The second change concerns the 16-computing-power effect in the γ2 area. Kaylee now receives two ammunition charges whenever she begins acting each turn. This provides far greater long-term value than the preview-server effect, which granted only two additional ammunition charges at the beginning of battle.
During testing, Kaylee normally gained one ammunition-related buff per turn, while the γ2 effect supplied two extra charges only during the opening stage. As the saying goes, much of human frustration comes from feeling powerless, and the previous design often left players with limited strategic options after the initial advantage disappeared. The new version gives Kaylee a more reliable supply throughout longer encounters. However, activating the effect requires players to deploy at least three copies of one advanced unit, so team-building requirements must be considered carefully.
The third improvement involves the Light Beam Detector module used by Kaylee’s exclusive machine, Rex. Its buff duration has been extended from one turn to two turns. Previously, players had to rebuild the buff during every single round, creating an exhausting cycle similar to Sisyphus repeatedly pushing his boulder uphill in Greek mythology.
Because the buff can now remain active for an additional turn, players no longer have to start from scratch whenever Kaylee acts. The effect can be maintained and accumulated more comfortably, making Rex easier to operate and reducing unnecessary repetition during battle.
The fourth adjustment is connected to another character, Natalia, and the Focus passive skill attached to her exclusive weapon, the Magic Flute. The expected number of available aiming actions has increased from roughly one or two per turn to three. Although this change does not directly transform Kaylee’s individual performance, it is positive for the game’s overall balance.
After players eventually craft Natalia’s weapon and explore team combinations involving both characters, Kaylee’s evaluation score may rise further. This adjustment creates more room for coordinated strategies and could increase the value of accuracy-focused lineups in future content.
The fifth and final improvement affects Kaylee’s supporting accuracy skill, No Escape. The Increased Hit Chance II debuff applied by this ability lasted only one turn on the test server, but its duration has now been extended to two turns on the official server. Because of this change, the earlier claim that Kaylee and Allison provide nearly identical support value is no longer convincing.
Among current 12BET users, Kaylee is widely considered superior to Allison in accuracy support, while her offensive potential also becomes impressive once players understand her mechanics. The increased hit chance from No Escape remains useful when Kaylee activates Ambush on the following turn, allowing her support ability to strengthen her own attack sequence. Modern team-building can be complicated, so versatile characters capable of killing two birds with one stone naturally attract more attention. Kaylee now delivers both dependable accuracy assistance and meaningful damage, making her official version far more valuable than the character players originally tested.
